Week 7 - Excursion 2 Darling Harbour

EXCURSION 1

Darling Harbour
My favourite photos:

1.What is it?
These photos were taken by me about urban architecture.

2.What style is it?
it is high/low angle and colour/shape.

3.Why is it style you've chosen?
It includes buildings and architecture subjects. It can have very powerful effects. I can use this technique to enhance the details in the sky and clouds, darkening the mood.

4.Why is it your favourite?
Make a habit of looking up and down as I walked around Darling harbour. I found interesting angles, shapes, and patterns when I looked at architecture from different points-of-view. I also shoot in a variety of weather conditions in order to enhance the effects of light and shadow on the atmosphere of each image.

week 5 - History of social media

History of SOCIAL MEDIA

What is social media?
social media forms of media that allow people to communicate and share information using the internet or mobile phones: blogs, products and other forms of social media are creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs to reach the public.

List THREE examples of when social media is most useful for communicating.

1- Facebook.
This is easily the largest social networking site in the world and one of the most widely used.

2- Instagram.
It was launched as a unique social networking platform that was completely based on sharing photos and videos.

3- Pinterest.
This a photo sharing and visual bookmarking social media site or app that enable you to find new ideas for your projects and save them.

What is netiquette?

Netiquette is short for "internet etiquette." Just like etiquette is a code of polite behaviour in society, netiquette is a code of good behaviour on the Internet. This includes several aspects of the Internet, such as email, social media, online chat, web forums, website comments, multiplayer gaming and other types of online communication.

List two rules to follow for good netiquette:
1- Avoid posting inflammatory or offensive comments online (a.k.a flaming, hru, dunno)
2- Never spam others by sending large amounts of unsolicited email.

Week 4 - Excursion 1 on campus

Excursion photos

My favourite photo 1 :

1.Where was this taken?
This photo of  Ultimo TAFE is at the library.

2. what style is it?
It's difficult to see other elements like High angle, contrast, black & white and shape.

3.Why is it your favourite?
I have tried to capture a level of this detail that is absolutely stunning. Light and the relationship with this subject (and the shadows that form) as well as other complementary elements (like lined pattern of this table) become the focus rather than the color of elements in the frame.

My favourite photo 2:

1. Where was this taken?
This photo of Ultimo TAFE  is everywhere.

2.What style is it?
It is close-up, highlighting colour, shape, form and intricate detail.

3. Why is it your favourite?
Because I prefer to capture fall colour in wide-angle landscapes, colourful leaf is hugely photogenic in close-up.

My favourite photo 3:

1. Where was this taken?
This photo of Ultimo TAFE is at the Muse from the wall.

2. What style is it?
It is shape, contrast, form and line.

3. why is it your favourite?
Because I like cropping to the square format emphasizes the shapes of this wall.
