• Group projects can help students develop a host of skills that are increasingly important in the professional world. Describe ONE Challenge of group work:

• Group work promotes an active learning process, participation and interaction among peers. When students come together to complete a project, each gets exposed to diverse perspectives, a pool of knowledge and a opportunities to gain a better understanding of classroom discussions. • Skill listening:

Listening is the ability to accurately receive and interpret messages in the communication process. It is key to all effective communication. Without the ability to listen effectively, messages are easily misunderstood. As a result, communication breaks down and the sender of the message can easily become frustrated or irritated (Skill You Need).Good listening skills also have benefits in our personal lives, including: A greater number of friends and social networks, improved self-esteem and confidence, higher grades at school and in academic work, and even better health and general well-being. • Skill Writing:

Writing skills are an important part of communication.  Good writing skills allow you to communicate your message with clarity and ease to a far larger audience than through face-to-face or telephone conversations (Skill You Need). We might be called upon to write a report, plan or strategy at work; write a grant application or press release within a volunteering role; or we may fancy communicating our ideas online via a blog.  And, of course, a well written CV or résumé with no spelling or grammatical mistakes is essential if we want a new job. Correct grammar, punctuation and spelling are key in written communications.  The reader will form an opinion of you, the author, based on both the content and presentation, and errors are likely to lead them to form a negative impression. Reading skill refers to the ability to understand written text. It is advisable to develop this skill at early age of schooling.
